Node-RED on Cerbo GX
Venus OS Large

Venus OS Large includes Node-RED and Signal K built in.

Install Venus OS Large

Download the "Large" firmware from Victron Professional or select in VRM firmware updates. Available for Cerbo GX, Cerbo-S GX, Venus GX, and Raspberry Pi.

Not standard Venus OS — you need the "Large" image which includes Node-RED and Signal K.

Enable Node-RED

Settings → Venus OS Large → Node-RED → Enable. Access at http://[device-ip]:1880

Victron Nodes are pre-installed

All nodes auto-detect connected devices via D-Bus. For standalone installs:

npm install @victronenergy/node-red-contrib-victron

Enable Signal K (optional)

Settings → Venus OS Large → Signal K → Enable. Access at http://[device-ip]:3000. REST API + WebSocket for NMEA 2000, GPS, AIS.

Deploy and forget

Flows run 24/7 on the Cerbo GX, survive reboots. Back up via Export or Git projects.
